The Basics
An indoor golf simulator uses tracking technology to measure a real golf swing and display the ball flight on a large screen showing a virtual golf course. At The Tee at Tradewater, a Trackman iO overhead radar captures every metric of your swing — ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, and more — and projects the result onto a screen showing one of 300+ world-renowned courses.
Trackman uses Doppler radar to track both the club and the ball from address through impact. The iO model mounts overhead, so there are no floor plates or mat sensors to step on or calibrate. The system captures carry distance, total distance, launch conditions, and shot shape, then renders the ball flight on a virtual course in real time. More about the technology →
No experience needed. The simulator has skill challenges, target games, and casual course play modes for beginners. You can also hit on a virtual driving range with no score or pressure. Tradewater’s craft beer makes the learning curve considerably more enjoyable.
Trackman is the same launch monitor technology used by PGA Tour players and club fitters who need data they can stake their careers on. Ball flight, carry distance, and shot shape are highly accurate. The virtual course surfaces and green speeds are modeled from real-world data on iconic courses. For practice purposes, the data is as reliable as anything available outside a professional fitting studio.
Pricing & Booking
Public tee times are priced per bay — no per-person charge. Summer rates (May 1–Sep 30): $30/hr on Thursday and Sunday, $40/hr on Friday and Saturday. Winter rates (Oct 1–Apr 30): $40/hr and $50/hr respectively. Bookable in 30-minute increments. See the full pricing page →
Per bay, always. Bring up to 8 players — the hourly rate stays the same. No per-person charges, no headcount fees, no group surcharges.
Yes. The minimum booking is 30 minutes and you can book in 30-minute increments from there. The rate for 30 minutes is half the hourly rate.
Book online through the Trackman Golf platform at booking.trackmangolf.com, or call us at 270-807-5869. See the booking page →
Up to 8 players per session. All 8 share the same bay and take turns hitting. Pricing doesn’t change based on group size — it’s always per bay.
Walk-ins are welcome if the bay is open, but booking in advance is strongly recommended — especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. Check availability online →
Summer rates are lower because outdoor golf is widely available May through September, softening simulator demand. Winter rates reflect higher demand when outdoor golf in Western Kentucky is limited by weather. Same simulator, same experience — seasonal pricing.
Bring your own clubs for the most accurate data — the Trackman iO is calibrated to perform best with a full set. If you need equipment, give us a call at 270-807-5869 before your session and we'll sort something out.
The Tee at Tradewater is located inside Tradewater Brewing Company. Please contact us at 270-807-5869 or info@teeattradewater.com to confirm current age policies before bringing minors.
